Hey guys, you have a Savage Model 12 Benchrest in .308 showing in stock on your website that says it is a 1:8 twist barrel, but on Savages website it only shows them available in a 1:12 twist... Can you please confirm the twist rate for me?? If it is the 1:12 twist I would really like to order it.

What is your twist rate? Their site actually advertises them as left port, right eject so it seems that part is normal. The only thing that seems odd is the 1:8 twist rate...
Wow, I just noticed for the first time that the Savage Model 12 Benchrest in .308 that are advertised on both SFRC and Irunguns are listed as a 26" barrel, not a 29"... Has anyone ever heard of a 26" barrel on these rifles?
And, both sites say that they come in a 1:8 twist... Are these some sort of special production guns that have a short barrel and a fast twist? Or is this another typo...

I think it may be a bit more than that... None of the Model 12 Benchrest rifles on Savage's site are available in a 26" barrel.
