Savage Model 12 LRP 6.5 Creedmoor - where to I find this?

I have not found anywhere in Canada that carries Savage sells this rifle. I will have to ask for a special order then?
I wonder why this caliber is not being sold in Canada? I read in some forums that are USA based saying that this caliber is flying off the shelves there.

I think exactely because they are flying off the shelve south of the border, there are limitations on the number of them included in each Savage shipment to Canada.
When I placed my order for a 260 Rem. with Ellwood Epps, they advised me that a dozen or so Model 12 LRPs in the next Savage shipment (due in 3-4 months) where all spoken for. My order had to go to the next shipment after that (due in Canada within 5-6 month). That's what happened. But it is worth it though and if when it arrives you don't want it for some reason, I am sure some guys here will give you a premium to take it off your hand.

You could send Jerry a little bit of cash and get that 32" 6.5 mm blank he has. You might spend a little more to put together your own version. Odds are it will shoot better though and you can get it sooner. That's assuming a reamer is something you can get in a timely way. All the other parts you need will be easy to get together. Someone else has a couple of 6.5 mm blanks too. He never returned my e-mail though...yes it was a stupid request.

I was thinking about a custom build too.
You can get these in Canada wholesale sports has them I have had mine since October I have not shot it yet I got all the component's but did not have a scope. I just ordered a sightron 8-32 with the lrmoa and it should be here today. Will post pics when it's together
