do all model 12s have heavy barrels? i looked on the website and saw that all of the current models are heavy bull barrel but what about older models? im looking to buy a used model 12 but im not sure if its a heavy barrel or not, the barrel is tapered towards the end so it almost looks like a sporter barrel. Did savage make a model 12 without heavy barrel in the past? the rifle i looked at also doesn't have an oversized bolt. another thing that threw me off was that there are front sights on the gun...
