Any of you gunsmiths out there know if a trigger guard or group off a model 30 will fit a model 170 in the Savage line?
They look almost identical to me and as far as I can tell it's just a switch of the cartridge lifter to the correct gauge or caliber.
If one of you have any books or knowledge on whether these are interchangable please let me know, thanks.
