Savage model 25 varminter

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has the new(?) savage model 25 lightweight varminter in .223. I am realllly thinking about picking one up and i would like to know if anyone has one or used one.. Thanks
 
Awesome gun, I have the thumbhole version and with 75gr Amax it will put three shots into 1/4 inch.Ten shots into 3/4 inch.Very smooth action for target it could use a lighter trigger.The clip is identical to the Tikka clip but smaller and hold four rounds if you push the last one hard. I know of one other person that owns one but I don't think he has shot it yet.
 
Thanks for the quick reply shotgunjoe... I have my eye on the normal stocked varminter. i guess ill have to go out an grab one. i love my model 40 so i hope the model 25 is as good as my model 40.:)
 
i too have one in 223, just have not had the time to go out and shoot it yet! my bad. Other than the bolt lock up being very snug in comparison to my model 12 or 10 guns it certainly fits and looks good. The detachable mag is nice, looking forward to range time this weekend.
 
Hmm 3 front locking lugs? sounds like a much better lock up then the model 40 whos lock up it not all that great.kinda feels....sloppy... meh either way im heading out today to go pick up the 25. need new rifle:):sniper:
