Looking at this gun for a friend (firing pin barely dimples the primer) and have it stripped to the point where I know the bolt wants to come out, but cannot solve the puzzle. Any help with disassembling this older model Savage shotgun would be appreciated.
The firing pin is really difficult to move back and forth in the bolt and is probably rusted. Carb cleaner did not improve the situation, hence the rust theory and the complete tear down.
Hopefully some one out there will have some knowledge of this gun and be willing to share.
