I have a 340 in 22 hornet that my dad left me. I am all set up to reload it, and I think it would be a neat gun to shoot. I have nearly no experience with it at all, and I was wondering if anyone knows if these rifles shoot well or not. I was considering refinishing the stock, bedding the action and maybe clean up the trigger a little. I wouldn't want to spend alot of time working on it if it is inheritantly an inaccurate rifle. Anyone with experience with one, I would love to hear about it. A friend of mine who can make stocks told me he would help/teach/guide me to build a stock for it, I think it would be a good experience. One thing I don't like however is the off-set scopemount (Weaver?) I haven't seen any other type for it, and the bolt handle barely clears the scope when opening/closing the bolt. Thanks for any help
