Savage Model 3C - Need info and bolt!

A friend of mine has a Savage Model 3C with no bolt and would like to get a replacement. Are these easily replaceable? Where can one buy one? He did mention that the saftey in not on the bolt.

Can someone give me some info on this type of .22?
