for those that do not know the rifle it is a tubuler fed .22 semi rifle is super accurate but out of every 50 rounds or so the feed mechanism will try to push a round up to chamber before it should and it gets stuck below the chamber still partly in the magazine tube and the bolt also gets stuck halfway in its travel forwards

Quite similar to both my Stevens 87C and Springfield/Stevens 87M .
I've found that in both instances the bolt guides get gummed up with powder residue and improper lube and / or , poor quality ammo .
Colder temps will also affect this more.

im gonna try cleaning the magazine tube and see if that helps otherwise the only reason that the bolt is getting stuck is because the feed mechanism (pawl?) is not allowing the bolt to travel forwards
