Savage octagon barrel

Hi all,
I recently acquired a savage .22 S L LR pump action octagon barrel rifle. The stamp on the barrel says patent dec.25 1906. Does anyone know what years these were manufactured or have any info on them?

Is it tube fed or have a magazine?

There was a batch of pumps made by Savage during the transition from the model 1903 to the model 1914. The 1903 had a mag and a regular model 1914 was tube fed but during the switch Savage made a bunch of guns that looked like the 1914 but mag fed like the 1903. Typical Savage using up leftover parts.

If it's tube fed I'm suspecting it's a regular model 1914.

Other Savage rimfires had the same barrel stamp on them, my model 1909 and 1912 have the same stamp.

Thanks, it is mag fed. I think it is a 1903.
