savage modle 11 in .243
450 or 550 can't remember off the top of head
worthit for f-class or a leverite there

That's about the going rate for a basic Model 11. Check the dealers up top, you'll get a good idea. The .243 offering seems slightly more abundant, no idea why...

The model 11 has a sporter weight barrel. Too much money to start a project, leave it. Either buy a model 12 F Class Savage or build up a Stevens 200 with a new stock, trigger and barrel.

That is not an F-Class gun Sean. leave it.

Not going to work for F class. Too many shots, barrel will get too hot and accuracy will take a dump.

In the long run, it will be easier and cheaper to build up a Savage F(O) rig then making a factory rifle (that conforms to the rules) shoot.
