Savage re barrel

I have been reading up on Savage prefit barrels and came across this, shank size small shank, large shank, and target shank. I know about the large and small shank but cannot find anything on target shank. Has someone got a explanation?
and what is considered as target?

I've never heard of 'target' shank, but they must be referring to the single feed target action which is just the normal large shank.

I believe they using the term in reference with the model 12 target action's. But as stated above it's simply a large shank.
