Savage REVEL-first impressions?

Hey guys-seeing these listed online in more places, wondering if any of you have taken the plunge? I'm looking forward to handling one, mostly interested in comparisons vs. Henry. I like the look of the Revels more tbh, but have some time behind Henry 22 levers.

Thanks-I'd looked through RFC and read about accuracy results, I'd like to see some targets and something more in depth/less talk about why it's not threaded for a sound moderator. lol

My LGS doesn't have them listed yet, I'll do take a look when they do.

I've ordered two Deluxe models from my local gunsmith.

One in 22 LR and a 22 WMR for my wife, she's going to shoot coyotes with hers at our acreage.

January/February was the original ETA, but we will see......

Just saw the 22LR version at Cabelas in Regina, seems not bad. Heavy for a lever 22 though. Price seems to be quite good, not sure what a henry would run you?

Haven’t tried any savages but i do have a henry .357 mag/.38 sp dif cal i know but a very nice rifle indeed. Just speaking to the henry quality is all

Savage Revel Deluxe 22 LR rimfire lever action guns are showing up at dealers now.

Still no 22 WMR in deluxe models as of yet.......

Waiting with keen anticipation.
