Just out of curiosity, when did Choate send a stock to Prophet River to send to you in Canada? This would be interesting.

Guys, you can relax with the bullet tip business. The only reason it bothered me in the slightest is that I wasn't able to determine at the time if I was getting a consistent seating depth. That's it. The tip can have small irregularities and you'll see me not giving a flying care quite a bit.

Now that this meplat discussion is hopefully done with, I'll update this thread when I've contacted Forster about the die profiling and when I've cooked up a fine tuned 5 shot load development to shoot at 200 yards.

If I remember correctly, I got the stock about 6 to 8 months ago.

Last, I'd like to say that with this barrel and stock, it kicks softer than a sleeping puppy nudging a pillow. 15lbs really soaks up recoil, you can practically land back on target after the scope unblurs from the recoil impulse.
