Savage rifle line up question

Im looking for a Savage in .223
I have coyotes 50-100 yds from my house on my acreage.
I use to have horses so the coyotes stayed further away but now they use my road to get to a ravine.
I have two dogs that go nuts in the house when they see the coyotes in the field/lane.
So yes 243 and larger is better/legal.
But I like .223.
What are the differences between the rifles other than barrel length and having an accutrigger?
They all seem to have syn and wood versions and different barrel lengths/ aswell as blued/SS.

a axis would do the trick accurate without tweaks just a bipod and good glass and you will dropem

You better make sure there isn't a no discharge bylaw. Also make sure you are at least 200 yards away from your neighbour, that includes the path of your bullet.

For only 50-100? I would (and do) go with 17hmr.

The savage (stevens) is 223 out of the box is perfect for up to 250 yards (thats the furtherest I shot) with zero issues. The cheap stevens line are good reliable never failing firearm or dirt cheap.

Stevens are cheap but where are they.
