Does anyone have any experience with Savage mail-in rebates, or mail-in rebates in general?

I bought two Savage rimfires this month (Rascal and Mark II), and I sent in my info for the rebate.

How often do they question purchases/supplied docs?

Are they good about honoring the rebates?
 
I recd rebate for a B22 about 5-6 years ago, and rebates on ammo from Federal and Sako. Probably NO probs except if there's a lot of rebates going out it may take a couple months.

I had no issue with Savage rebate, when I bought my Savage 12.

Just make sure you send the right proof of purchase.
