Hi I have a 23aa which is a little newer (1933 to 1942) 23aa had better trigger, #### on opening and checkered stock
The 23a was produced between 1923 to 1933, from your pics I can tell you the tang sight is not correct for the rifle, the folding barrel sight is also not correct, they had a leaf rear sight with standard elevator.
Receiver is drilled and tapped for a receiver mounted peep sight.
Value is based on condition and demand, I bought a 23aa at a gunshow a few years back in 90% cond and it was priced at 235.00 So based on that I would put the Value of the one you have at less than 200.00
They are excellent shooters!
If you could find out what that tang sight was made to fit it could be worth 200.00 by itself.
