Savage/Stevens 350

Does anyone own, or has spent any time with these? What was your opinion of them? They do not seem to be popular, but I don't think they've been in production for a very long time.

Internet reviews seem a little hit and miss...

When a dealer friend of mine went to order some in, his suppliers said don't they are crap.

i have one, about 60 shells through it, not a single issue, it's a little heavy but other than that it's been great to me.

Interesting bottom eject design, as a lefty I like it. If you are on a budget then it is a good option. If you have a little more cash then people will start recommending the 500 and 870, both of which very good reliable options.

The stock design kind of put me off. Seems like the recoil would be unpleasant.
