Savage Stock question

Hello

First off, yes I searched first :rockOn: On to my question at hand, I am wondering about the possibility of swapping stocks on the Savage 116 series. I was looking at getting a Savage 116 Bear Hunter 300win but the hinged floorplate and camo stock turned me off of it big time. I do however like Savage's stainless detachable mags and their synthetic stocks. Basically does anyone know if I can swap a stock with a detachable mag in place of the camo stock?

Is it not possible just to purchase the Savage Weather Warrior 116 in 300win mag? I believe this is exactly what you're after.

Yes it it, but the bear hunter comes with the selectable muzzle break and fluted barrel. Two things that aren't available on the regular 116. After having shot the bear hunter and felt the loss of recoil, I want it. I just hate hinged floorplates.
