Savage Switch Barrel

Just counting down the minutes till the end of my Friday and thought I'd post a pic or two of my switch barrel rig:

Cal: 6mm REM Ackley Improved (Shilen Select Match SS, S7 Contour finished @ 28" with a 1-8" twist) attached to a Savage 111 action
Stock: Sharp Shooter Supply LVT in Black Black Blue
Optics: Sightron SIII 8-32x56 TDot with sunshade

The next pic is of the first 3 shots from a ladder test I loaded a couple weeks back...

You sir have impeccable taste in rifle build and front rest.

Heres my 223:

Heres a 300 yard group on a gusty day shooting 80 smks. The fifth shot (1.6 inches) proves what I am typically capable of and the first four shots are what I think the rifle is capable of ( 0.54 inch edge to edge.).

KDX, the rifle started as a 30-06, so I have that as well as a 338-06 barrel (factory contour used with factory stock) for my moose/elk rifle.

I also have a 260AI barrel, but it's going towards a new project, I hope to have pics up of it shortly.
