Savage Tactical Bolt Knob Option

Not alot of options out there for savages... Here is an easy mod anyone can do with very few tools and just a little mechanical ability.

Thats the original bolt handle so yes...you can convert your own.

Sorry...I should have explained better. That is the original bolt handle that I modded by cutting off and leaving about 1/2 inch of the original handle. Square it up, mark the center and bore it out, then add the new one.

If I were to send you my lh savage handle, how much would it cost for you to do the conversion for me? The bolt handle is blued. What would be the turn around time?

Is the new handle threaded on? Durable?

Not doing any right now. I was posting just to show people one way of doing them. It really is very easy to do, all you need is an angle grinder, file and a drill press.
