Bought a used savage 16 stainless for my kid in 308. Fellow I got it from said 40 rounds fired. I took it out, fired one round and the trigger would not set for second round. It would trip to the blade safety. Went online and was told to tighten the adjustment on trigger. So I did and back to range. Same thing. He said he fired 40 never had an issue. Anyone else ever go through this issue?

With safety as our primary concern, the accutrigger design requires the shooter place their finger squarely over the accurelease. Pulling the trigger from the side or not directly rearward will cause the sear to disengage and be blocked by the accurelease. Although a click may be heard, the sear is blocked when this happens. The bolt must be raised and lowered to re-#### the firearm"
