Savage Trigger Question

When you hear they installed a police trigger in a savage 111 is that the same as a accutrigger. Is the police trigger adjustable also??

Never heard of a police trigger. The NY police rapid response team uses Savage with accu trigger - and the legend is born. Could be that your guy was told such and is not a Savage guru.

Accu-Triggers are adjustable.

He bought the gun new and it came with the fixed trigger but had an adjustable police trigger installed out of a police gun????? He probally had a accutrigger installed.
Would that fit no problem???

Sounds like they used a trigger out of a police model. They are the normal accu triggers.
The easy install job would require modifing the spring that makes the accu trigger adjustable or modifing the action. Its much easier to modify the spring and just as reliable. Since the spring might be modified, the adjustability may be effected. There is no good reason for it to be less safe or reliable.

Sounds good. Thanks for the help. Oh it works just fine and is just under 3 pounds so it is probally just an accu trigger. Take care
