Anyone picked one of these up yet?? I am looking into purchasing one of these and was hoping for real world feedback. I own numerous savages so more interested in the barrel, finish, accuracy and real weight. Also, if anyone owns the 6.5 PRC, how many rounds actually fight in the magazine?

I have one, haven't really put it through much yet though, did one quick ladder test. Not the lightest rifle by any means, my kimber hunter is much lighter, but it's not overly heavy. Fit and finish are good though. Can't say on accuracy yet as haven't done anymore load development, hopefully get that out of the way in the next week and can report back. Mine is .308win but I believe the 6.5PRC was 2 in the mag and one in the chamber so I avoided the fatter cartridges as a mag with only 2 rounds seems silly. One thing of note was finding bases/rings for it was a bit of a pain with the 8-40 screws and getting a somewhat shorter scope mounted on it took a few tries with different combinations of bases/rings etc and ended up higher than I usually would like which is odd considering it's a short action.

they have 6 ounces differences in weight.... are the specs incorrect?

I have one in prc, accuracy is very good, moa or better factory hornady eld-x sub moa with hand loads. Magazine will hold 3 but with inconsistent first round feeding, trigger is awesome mine broke under a pound on the lightest setting so I bumped it up to about 1.5. Stock is garbage I’ll likely put mine in a mdt lss xl chassis but I’d definitely say the rifle is solid purchase.

I picked up the Savage 110 Ultralite in a 280AI, scoped it with a Swarovski and finally got a chance to take it out to sight in and test. Only factory loads I had available were 140gr Nosler, 140gr Nosler Trophy, 162 Hornady...........sighted it in with the 140gr Noslers and sub MOA 3 shot group, shot the 140gr Nosler Trophy sub MOA but 4.5 inches at 100, shot the Hornady 162 and they impacted 3 inches left and 4.5 inches high but sub MOA as well..................as for the stock, I didn't notice and don't think the critters will either........lol

With personal experience and an example of one you can put three in the magazine and they cycle. I have experienced no cycling issues at all.

I had the chance to hold one. I was surprised by how the stock felt. flimsy .you would think savage would have put a much nicer stock on it for the money you pay for it.
