I think I'm going to buy one. Comparing to others, this rifle seems to have all the bells and whistles. Any knowledge pertaining this rifle would be great. How do they shoot?

I have one in .300WSM. I have a Nikon buckmaster 4.5-14 mildot scope on it. This has got to be the most accurate rifle I have. It took 3 shots to sight in and it hasn't budged from that position yet. It has the synthetic stock (mine doesn't have accu-stock) with an excellent shoulder pad that sucks up a ton of recoil. The Accu-trigger takes a few shots to get used to. The trigger will feel very light at first but you'll become used to it very quickly and wonder how you ever got by with out one. My only beef is that the magazine only holds 2 cartridges. Still, one of the top guns in the cabinet and worth every penny.

I had one in .300 win mag and it shot really well for me. (.88 inch groups with handloads) but I didn't like the stock as it was a little flimsy up front, and the recoil pad was a hockey puck. Anyhow, wait and get one with the new ACCUSTOCK that has the full length aluminum bedding block built in. It makes the stock pretty rigid and makes it more accurate. Plus mine was only 6.75 lbs so it kicked pretty good. The trigger was good, and the mag fed well on mine.
I would say that I had a problem with the magazine dropping out occasionally. It had to be inserted butt end first then the front and clicked in well. If not, she'd pop out under recoil and almost always dent a bullet when it hit the ground. Make sure you handle one, check magazine feeding and loading, and if it all checks out, it'll be a shooter.

I have owned a few savages in the last couple of years...I have sworn off them . I am just not satisfied with their overall build quality, they always feel "cheap" to me. BUT! They do offer decent value and are generally quite accurate.

I have one in 7mm-08.Quality seems good except for the forestock being a bit flimsy.I got a 7/8" 3 shot group at 200 yds with mine last winter useing Rem. 140 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips. Normally I can't shoot that great so it really shocked me to see this when I walked up to the target!

I have one in 7mm-08 also! the only bad part is the flimsy forend but other than that i love the gun! but the new accu stck is sappose to be good!!! the first thing i have shot with mine!

I own one in .270WSM. I shortened the barrel 2" and had it crowned. I've also bedded it with Devcon Steel. It's a tack driver, and with my mods to the "plastic" stock, it's very pleasurable to shoot. Mine is scoped with a Leupy 4.5-14. By shortening the barrel, I've sacrified 60 fps at muzzle, but with a caliber that shoots well beyond 3300 fps, who cares. It's very dependable, easy shooter and accurrate. The only draw back that I can think of is that the detachable mag only holds 2 rounds. That has never been an issue as if one cannot make the first or second round count, then there is a problem beyond that of the gun's capability. I'd rate the 16FCSS as a great deal for your hard earned money.
