What do you say? Model 12 BVSS or Model 12 low profile varminter? 50.00 more for the varminter and the only differences I see are the bolt handle, stock style and pillar bedding. They're nice things, is there really any advantage? or disadvantage to them? I kind of like the stock on the BVSS....

If I recall the BVSS is Pillar bedded as well. The varminter has a wide forestock to sit on bags for bench work. I went with the BVSS the thing is deadly.

The savage web page doesn't indicate that the bvss is pillar bedded but I guess I'd have to have a look!
