savage110 to 111

my wife is going stateside this weekend,just wondering if a savage 110 la will fit a 111. cabella's sells some boyd's stocks thumbhole and jrs classic in a 110 la. if it's a guaranteed fit then i'll make sure she brings 1 back for me.

Not too sure what a model 111 is but the long action is referred to as a model 110 (or 112, 114, 116) and the short action is referred to as a model 10 (or 12, 14, or 16).

As far as I know (I am in the process of learning still) the actions fit the same now as they did years ago with the only difference being bling mag, hinged floor plate, and detachable mag options and cut outs.

I am sure someone will peep in to confirm what I have said or maybe the opposite and we will both learn something new today
