save my brass?

I kept all my .223 brass plus whatever else was kicking around, myself and my brother inlaw are now reloading for 300 wm,22-250,308,270, 45LC, and 9mm on the menu. Guess what , we have brass.

No, your store bought brass cannot be used for reloading. Reload ers use special brass that doesn't come from a store. Once the brass touches the ground it is irrevocably damaged and can never be used again.

Which is my way of pointing out that you have asked a faarcking stupid question.

No stupid questions, only stupid answers. The fact that you chose to answer this question............. well that speaks for itself

Good to know that when you started shooting you already knew everything about everything.

I may be cheap - but I pay my range membership in cash - not brass.

I would not feel pressured to pay in extra brass. You 1F brass is of known origin - it has more value to you than anyone else.

If you even have an inkling that you may someday want to start reloading, it's worth saving your brass now. I was once given 300 rounds of Norma .357 brass without even having a gun to shoot it in or any reloading equipment. Turned out the guy's dad wanted to sell his revolver too, so the next day I bought his New Model Blackhawk for $100. For rifles, I tried to only buy factory ammo of one brand so that when I started reloading I would have consistent once fired brass to use.

Sometimes your in the right place at the right time and guys will just give it to you. I gave all mine away for years before I figured I would reload someday.

No. don't save it. Very dangerous. Let me take it off your hands. Ill dispose of it properly ! LOL. Absolutely save all of it dude ! You will be happy that u did. Keep asking any question u want. Just beware of the "fudds" and people here that have negative responses.

How about 22 brass? I guess just as scrap metal its worth something?

Some folks used empty .22 cases to swage into jackets for cast centre-fire .224 projectiles.

"swaging 22 brass jackets" on Google yields some good results on what I am talking about.
