I have been looking at Savior rifle case lately.
my question is for the owner of them
I have read that the interior materiel is hard on gun finish ( wood stock ) mostly

any opinion on this will help make my decision

thank you

Are you transporting museum pieces or rifles that work?

its a sako kodiak in 375 h&h hunting rifle but the stock is really nice and would like to keep it that way
and I have to drive 135 miles of dirt road to get to the outfitter son a lot of bouncing around and like I have read is the the interior materiel is the same has the exterior shell

Yes, the material is the same interior/exterior. Not sure how that would affect the stock but I keep my uberti falling block in a rifle sock anyway.

good idea

FWIW I'm very happy with the case. I purchased the double case in 55" to accommodate my 32" bbl uberti. It's the only soft rifle case on the market that I could find which you can lock. Ample pouches for amino etc.

What's the point of taking out a rifle that you are afraid to scratch?

I highly doubt a rifle case is going to damage a rifle stock more than normal use, especially hunting.

I transported a manners stocked rifle in a savior case for many months many kilometers.
When I sold the stock it was as nice as day 1.
As for wood stocks, I wouldn't know as I'm allergic to that material on a firearm Laugh2

I am assuming you are referring to the soft rifle cases which are mainly made of 500d codura like nylon. Not sure how it can damage the stock or the finish of the gun. I've had a few for years and never had any problems
