Saw a young bull today

Coming back from picking mushrooms, we noticed a young bull moose (2 1/2?) at the edge of the bush . After we stopped the truck the bull trotted into the bush a few yards ...hid behind a tree and looked back at us, when I grunted a few times . As buddy gets out of the truck ,filming with his camera, Bullwinkle takes off again , again I stop him with my plaintive/horny cow call .
To make a long story shorter , buddy walks within 20 yds. of the young bull while we are both "talking" to him ....filming all the while .
I guess they are hoping that the "Gals" are getting interested ...

Looks like a tender, spike-fork (yearling) bull. Open for spike-fork (two points or less on one side) or tri-palm (three points minimum on one brow palm) around here until the end of October.

I did mention your name today ...to a couple of heifers....the young cows kept wistfully looking over their shoulders
