Saw my first 275 Rigby today...

Travelling across the country, on the way home, after several weeks out. Stopping at a few gun shops as I go. I nice break after all work.
Saw two Cooper rifles today in 275 Rigby. One was a Cooper Jackson Game with very nice wood, the other was a custom classic with nice wood too.
Now, of course, many experts on here can quickly tell us what these 'really' are????
Its still really 'cool' to see these marked as 275 Rigby.

Yup, 7x57 mauser, the Brits just renamed it and used the diameter from inside the lands to get the 275.

.275 Rigby or 7X57... either way, it's a nice caliber... especially if you reload. This is the first time I have heard of the .275 Rigby designation.

When you pay over $2000 for a rifle, the 7x57 becomes a 275 Rigby. Pretty much like a Mexican becomes a Spaniard after marrying your daughter.
