Sawdusts Polar bear stock

it is a Benchrest stock for a 10/22

flat bottom, 3 inch wide, sloped sides, maybe a thumbhole, originated by a fellow on rimfire central (can I say that) on the 1022 forum which showed how to do a stock with wood and bondo, they would track nice and look good

they as known as ultimate 1022 stocks for the bench

Yes I remember a year or two ago a member by the name of "Sawdust" who came up with the polar bear stock.

Here was where it more the less originated from... (unfortunately the photos are no longer there)

As far as I know though, all of these Polar bear stocks were just built by various people who took the design. As you mentioned though - they look like a nice stock and would work well for benchrest. As far as any in Canada though, I don't believe any manufacturers are making these, just various people.
