A while back I bought a Riverside Arms 12 gauge for $60 bucks, it had nice patina but someone used steel shot on It or something to cause a slight bulge just before the choke. I used it for a while for duck as my other 12 gauge was a Norinco 780 that sh!t the bed. Few months after getting it I got a sweet deal on a 1951 870 for $150 so the Riverside became surplus to my needs. Fast forward to last week I'm at a gun shop with a buddy and have no money on me, the guy who works there knows me and has an idea as to what I lik,e so he pulls out a nice Cooey model 60 say it just came in and is 115 all in. I don't have any money on me so I'm heartbroken as I've been trying to get a model 60 for a while. My buddy knows this and says he'll spot me the cash to get it. So I decided that when paying him back I'm only giving him $100 of what I owe him and including my Riverside Arms Single 12, as he was browsing for a 12 gauge backpacker. This will be his second gun, I've cut down the barrel to 18.6" from 30" and gave it a crown which I reblued, a put on a buttpad from a 780(didn't fit perfect but better then the chunk of wood it had before). Sometimes it's nice to pay it forwards.
Here is the before...
And now...
and the Cooey model 60
*Edited the title because people seem more concerned about grammar the guns
