Saying Goodbye To Glock! What Now? Beretta Or Sig? Updated - I chose the Beretta. ;)

So anyways I was at the gun shop this morning...........

Handled both, and I think I am gonna go with the Beretta.

- I have smaller/medium hands and the Sig is slightly bulky for me.
- DA trigger pull is better on the Sig, but the single action(what I'll be shooting) felt better with the Beretta.
- Controls on the Sig are too strange for me and I have had issues with the slide lock in the past when shooting friends Sig's. I am sure I could get used to it, but the Beretta doesn't have this issue.
- Beretta is brand new while the Sig is used, and I like the idea if a brand new gun. Haven't bought new in a while.
-Sig comes with night sights, which I am not a fan of. Prefer the standard sights on the Sig over the Beretta, but with the night sights its a wash.
- The Beretta is just ###ier IMHO.

In the end I can find reasons to go either way, but the BNIB with warranty is a bigh factor, and the Beretta feels better in my hand. I think it looks better to. ;)

Thanks for the help everyone.
Cheers
M

The ###iest, most accurate out of the box, most beatiful handgun out of the box:

CZ75B satin Stainless!!! a happy ending.

I have a 226,but one of my buddies has a CZ shadow. I would give that a try too before making your decision.

Please read the thread, and posts in it. f:P:

I have owned a CZ Sp01 and a 75b and while I agree they are great guns, they just didn't fit me that well.

And the finish on the CZ's is shiiiiiiit!

If I was going to buy another CZ it would be stainless, and I prefer $800 on the Beretta, over the $1000+ that would cost me.

If not a Glock in 9mm then for me personally, it's BHP MkIII.

Agreed. If you find the controls on the CZ75 hard to reach the double action trigger on both the Sig and Beretta will likely be no better.

Or cut to the chase and get a good 1911, you'll eventually get there and realize all the time and money you could have saved if you just listened to the right people! :D

Great choice! Id go with the Inox personally.

I agree that finish on the CZ is crap, thats why I went with polished stainess model foer my 75B. Awesome looking gun.

Oddly enough I think I shoot Glocks better than my Sigs and even my 1911.

Who gets your Glock 17, since it's of no use to you. Can I have it? ;) :dancingbanana:

Ya I'm busted. Rather than reading through a catalogue of gun suggestions, I just offered to help.
