SBE II Help. Plug Length?

Hey there SBE II owners,

I need a favour. Going hunting tomorro, but can't find my plug. Can anyone tell me the exact length of the factory plug so I can make one, till my original turns up. It's red right?
I have wood, green, black and orange in my pile, but seem to remember the Benelli one is red.

Went with a green one out of an 870. Not sure what the law is in regards to hunting.
My gun holds 2 3/4 to 3 1/2. Federal law is that it can hold a max of 5 of the biggest ammo the gun will hold (3.5's) in the magazine because it's a semi auto. I have the print-put from the RCMP. This has been gone over lots.

Is that the same for hunting?
Most of the plugs I have limit the gun to 2, 3 1/2 shells in the magazine tube, but you can fit 3, 2 3/4's. The green one I used today would fit 2, 2 3/4's but only one 3.5 in the magazine.

Provinces in question are Saskatchewan and BC.
Any experience with this?
 
Your total allowed capacity including the chamber is 3 shells for hunting ,therefore the maqazine can hold only 2. With the correct plug you should be able to hold only 2 shells ,either 2.75" or 3.5". If you have to make a plug set it up so it will just take two 3.5" shells and it will also take only two 2.75" shells.
