There is a "company" listed on the website called CANADIANAMMO.com .... this is a SCAM that originates in India .... presently their site has been listed as "unavailable", but actually was removed ...... they are undoubtedly going to re-establish under an alternate name .... I lost over 200.00 to them and don't want to see it happen to anyone else ! Look carefully at their content - prices ..... establish their claims by a contact phone number / mailing address / company location. On another website (also a SCAM SITE), a supposed Canadian reloader outfitter also listed BRASS KNUCKLES for sale .... a prohibited weapon in Canada, but they didn't take the time to completely check their site ................. BUYER BEWARE !!!!

I reported this site some time ago when primers and projectiles were scarce everywhere. This site had EVERYTHING in stock so I grew suspicious and did a little Googling. At the time they were operating out of a barn north of Toronto that claimed to be a body shop, and prior to that (depending on the site name variation) another supposed body shop. No actual business being conducted at either and the body shop names were not listed anywhere. Listed phone numbers didn't work, just the web site. Yes, buyer beware.

Several online gun stores out there that are scams. I usually Google for cheapest ammo I can find coast to coast (not committed to one specific store). One thing I've noticed over the last year or so about 30% of all Google returns link you to bunch of fake online ammo/gun stores now. Never seen that before 2024.
And one thing I've noticed, most of their prices are advertised 20-40% cheaper than the going rate.
The other red flag is that some are e-transfer only, don't have credit card support.
Nice looking sites. All AI generated, look legit and professional.

I usually streetview/Google the address and see if the store actually exists. Most don't.

I got burned by a paving outfit from sudbury last fall. The conman was operating as Bellway paving. I checked on him too late but his address went to a private college in Toronto.
There are scammers and crooks everywhere it seems.

This is OLD NEWS dude
Old news TO YOU. There are new members joining every day, might not be “old news” to them. In fact, it obviously was not “old news” to the OP, what makes you think that just because YOU already knew this that everybody should know and if they are relatively new to shooting or just new to gun forums where these things get discussed, how would they know? I could be wrong, but I don’t believe that this site is all about you. There are members here from ALL levels of experience. If you are not interested in helping those with less experience, that is fine, just don’t try to stop or impede others that DO want to be helpful.

Interesting that some have said : "if you can't pay by credit card, it's a scam''.
Visa and Mastercard must be making sure that their online prescence is protected?

Used to be that if I ended up using my Visa card at a shady place - I got scammed. Not that way anymore?
