I'm confused about all these barrel length details on a shotgun. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Can I have a 14.5" on a shotgun with a telescopic rear and still be legal? If yes it has to be a factory made barrel at that length? But I can't have the same barrel with just a pistol grip! The whole weapon can't be shorter then 26"? Were can a guy pick up a 14.5 incher. I'm confused with all these little hoops to jump through can someone please straighten this out for me?

Thanks

Sounds like you pretty much have the hang of it. As to where to get a barrel, check the EE or contact Dlask.

Unless its a semi auto, then you're limited to the 18.5" barrel length.

Oops! Should have mentioned that. Unless of course it's registered as restricted, than you can install a shorter barrel, but I don't know of anyone making barrels for semi's. They are rare, but their is at least one 14" 1187P in the country.

14 inch or 12.5 inch is more common for Remington 870's(Norinco or Dlask)
With a folding stock, telescopic stock, regular stock or pistol grip it must meet be longer then 26 inchs (legal case is not decided yet regarding restricted or non-restricted status for shotguns sold with pistol grip only shorter then 26 inchs)

Can Ammo will have 12.5 inch Grizzly's with chokes (870 clone from china)available soon.....around $300!
