Schematics for no. 1 mk 3 wood

OK, I'm letting the cat out of the bag and help on this would be great. If I invested some time and probably money, how many people would be interested in getting wood components cnc'd? I've been digging around and if I can get schematics and someone that kicks butt at programming, I think it might work. I know there are some metal components that attach right to the wood and maybe someone can fill me in on how they are made and attached. This could be a brick wall kind of idea, but it's worth a shot. I know they are doing it over the pond. What do ya'll think? Something to look into. Also, I'm not here to make a bunch of money off of guys that want to debubba their rifles. This is just an idea, maybe it's crap, but it's worth a try.

Sounds good. I just want all of you to know that I would be looking for help as I'm not a cnc machinist, nor do I pretend to have all the answers. I think this could be a really cool idea and not hard once the cnc schematics have been made. Its getting to that point and doing it without breaking the bank. Any help is welcome and appreciated

It's a cool idea.

Might have more bites casting a lure into the gunsmithing forum.

I have seen the military manuals and the dimensions aren't there. There is also some variation in dimensions even between factory stocks, and then between the savages, long branches, ishapore, etc production.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I think if I were to do the schematics, I would start with england dimensions for the #1 mk3 and longbranch for the no.4 mk1. I'll pose the question in gunsmith as well. Here's hoping there's enough people to get this up and running.
