Anyone want to travel to Europe this summer? Norway is easy to travel to with firearms, and here is a good excuse to make the trip:)

Schmidt and Bender is proud to host the inaugural “Schmidt and Bender Cup” precision rifle competition Aug 25th -26th 2018 in Kvinesdal Norway.

With input from the worlds top shooters this competition will be the premiere dynamic precision rifle competition in Europe.

In association with Spuhr and LRD Sweden this event coordinated with Astro Sweden and Royseland Ranch will draw professional competitors and Military professionals from around the world to compete in 24 challenging tactical precision rifle stages from 300 to 1150 meters.

Don’t miss this high tempo first of its kind in magnitude for Europe competition.

Funny you mention that. I am going to a wedding there on July 12th. Spending a week there.
I did go to a rifle range last year outside of Drammen with a family friend and we shot his Sauer Precision Rifle and a Sauer hunting rifle in 6.5 mm Swedish.

They are banning all Semi autos though in 3 years time. So they are not firearms friendly by any means, even though they have a large hunting community.
 
That is not entirely accurate. IPSC shooters already have to belong to a government approved shooting association and prove that they are active to buy Semi Automatic rifles, ARs, AKs, AUG etc. There is a list of approved rifles. We will still be able to keep and use our rifles. There is also a list of semi automatics approved for hunting. They are keeping the list with some changes. But yes, they are banning certain semi automatics. Handguns are still ok.
