My dad has a Schmidt Rubin Model 1891 rifle.
Is this a collectible gun...I have not seen one for sale for ages.
This is the long barrel rifle with the tall sloped rear sight adjustment, and the long action totally different then the later models.
It is in fantastic condition with a clean sharp bore and flawless wood. It is completely covered with the Swedish Cross markings. The interesting thing is the magazine which has a lever type cut-off that actually lowers the magazine so it will not feed.
What would be an approximate value?
Cheers
