Schneider & Glassic

A friend owns an old percussion revolver in .36 cal., similar to Colt Navy but with brass frame. The only markings are "Schneider & Glassic". Online research indicates that they were made around 1861 in Memphis, Tenn., but that only three are known to exist. So one would assume that his gun is not authentic. Can anyone recommend someone in Ontario with the expertise to authenticate this item ? Thanks
