School me on neck turning

I'm at that point where I think I am going to have to turn a few necks.
Case reforming mainly. Got a boat load of 7X57 and 257 Roberts but need 6mm rem. Since these are quality cases (Norma). I would like to use them.

Also have a tight neck 308. Cases work after a few firings in a different rifle. Necks seem to thin out after.

Outside vs inside?

I want something that can be used for a multiple of calibers, easy to get parts for. Plus quality.
Say $500 budget?

Sinclair's , a bit more money would be K&M, PMA or 21st century. You will need a expander die . Expanding mandrel and turning mandrel for each caliber. Some turners comes with a cutter cut to the same angle as the shoulder of the case your turning so watch that. You will also need some sort of case holder. Sinclair's is probably the more budget friendly .

I use the Hornady now. Sturdy tool and it does the job. $200.
Used the Sinclair for a while, but if you do a lot of turning, I would go with K&M or 21 st Century.
Might blow your budget apart..but is what budget are for to let you know how much you are over it..

If you have a RCBS case trimmer you can remove the cutter and put on a neck turner end. This unit has a pilot for each caliber that also has a reamer for the inside and on the outside a cutter that you can adjust to what ever thickness you want.
I just tried one of these and I like it so far.
