Mine was from seven six two systems, and after three winter trips to the range, the front block just fell off.

So not sure how the other one is holding, but the construction which holds on just ONE screw is weak and sooner or later it will fail. Not taking this MOD to shtf woods

As to the new archangel ak style release mags. Archangel continues engineering craziness after their crazy beautiful but heavy and nonfieldstripable stock. Seriously, after having a duckbill, now u have another crazy sticking out part. Good luck in tactical drills with that crap

I've done one of mine so far. Worked so well that I may do them all
No issues whatsoever.

There are videos, and also I think, pics here, of where to cut off the bolt shoulders. Quite easy to do, if you are patient. About a half hour of light grinding, so you don't overheat the bolt (turn it blue). I have no issues inserting a mag on a closed bolt, in mine.

Definitely a good mod. I may be wrong, but I think that HiCal may do the bolt mod, for a fee, for those that might not be up to doing it.

Put a drum sander bit on your dremel, and hog a boat hull shape into the bottom of your bolt.
This will clearance the cartridge shoulder enough to insert full mags.

lol I aint doing that.... like ever. That material is there for a reason
