So I am looking at an AR180B I want to buy.

The pivot pin is broken but the stormwekz hinge / pivot pin fix looks like it would work well.

The only issue is it is missing the rear sight.

It has the original scope mount and base and the forward flat of the rear sight that the scope mount plunger sits against is still there.

My question is, how do I mount a rear sight to the rifle.

I have only handled one of these briefly a few years ago but my recollection is the rear sight might be spot welded / riveted into place on the upper. I have scoured the Internet looking at pictures but can't seem to find anything about how the rear sight mounts or after market solutions.

Is there any way to fit a new rear sight on this rifle and what sight / mounting option might work?

Any info you might be able to provide is much appreciated.

i had one of those a few years ago. if i recall correctly, the rear sight was welded to the upper.
some owners cut them down to allow a scope to set lower.

It's milled off. Sounds like my old one. It's so I could mount the scope lower. Is the intregal brake threaded and aftermarket stock adapter?
