Schultz and Larsen .22

I see tradeex has several Schultz and Larsen .22 rifles-single shot,heavy barrel and diopter sights.Does anybody own one or have any experiance with them?I'm presuming with the heavy barrel they are a target type rifle,with a tight chamber but not so heavy as to limit it to bench rest shooting.My concern would be availability of parts...

I seen a beat up one at a Local gunshow last year. Never had sights. Somebody messed up a drill and tap job for mounts ( holes were #### eyed ) It was a heavy beast.
