At the gun show in Ancaster on Sunday, Trade Ex had several tables setup.
They are from St. Laurent in Quebec, quite a trip to Ancaster.
I've been on their web site and was thinking about asking for better pictures of the two Schultz and Larsen .22's.

At the show, I had a chance to handle them. Both appear to be inexpensive beginner target rifles. One is in a nice walnut target stock, unmarked front and rear apertures, rear looks like a Lyman but not target quality. Heavy barrel with some missing blue.
The other had a heavy barrel, front and rear aperture, an unusual front aperture that you'll never get apertures for. It's in a cheap, hardwood sporter stock with no buttplate, just grooves in the wood, like a cheap air rifle. With the small stock, it is very front heavy.
Both guns were inexpensive.
I bought the nicer target gun and of course, rushed off to the range Sunday afternoon.
An amazing gun. May be the most accurate gun I own, and I have a few. It shot everything I tried very well. I shot the 50 yard open sight postal match with T22's, Federal Gold Match, and PMC Scoremaster, all lower end target ammo. Didn't have to touch the sights between all three makes of ammo. Sometimes I had to go downrange to see what was happening, then I'd find that my last three shots all went through the same hole. I shot 10 shots at a sighter target and ended up with a big hole with one shot out of the group. And this is with aperture sights!
Of course, when I got home I sent an email off to Trade Ex telling them to ship me the other Schultz and Larsen. I see they have already taken them off their web site. I'll have to see if I can find the pictures and post them.
