Wondering if anyone knows what the barrel tenon is? I am away from all my books.

Stuart Otterson's chapter on the S&L 68DL quotes the barrel threads as 26 x 1.8 (metric). (I would have thought the "metric" was unnecessary, but that's just me.)

Looking through the model history he gives, I would GUESS this is unchanged from the model 65, but I'd be sure before making chips...

Otteson in volume 2 states that there is no major difference in the action of the 65 and 68 models other than the bolt sleeve.
