Any first hand experience with this two rifles.

Are they on par accuracy wise , i'm planning on buying one of them, but would like to find out from anybody that have shot both and read your reviews on them.

Thanks.

Victor...

I don't have either and haven't shot either but I will say that both are made with high quality barrels and assembled with care and have reputations of being very accurate.

For myself, the choice would come down to the action. The M69's are build on large ring M98 actions which I personally prefer over the small ring M96 actions.

i have a schultz and larson m69 if i was buying another i would get the one with the adjustable triger. They are very accurate rifles and nicely built, well worth the price although the one with the adjustable trigger is a little more.
Some of the cg63 are also made with a schultz and larson heavy barrel as well as the medium heavy barrel by carlGustaves. I think they are equally accurate but i cant say for sure as of yet as i dont have a CG63 but have one on hold from Tradex

From conversations I've had and research I've done I'd say they are both equal in the accuracy/quality department. I think it comes down to wether you like #### on open or #### on close.

I don't own either but I do own and shoot a Swede FSR prize rifle that is as new. That rifle is consistent and amazingly accurate. The action is so smooth that after breaking a shot I use my thumb to open the bolt and then slide the bolt back with my trigger finger.

So my thoughts are if the CG63 is an improvement then it may be hard to beat the $500 buy in price. I'll find out one of these days.

Cg63 is top of my list!!

I also own 4 CGs, 2 M96 and 2 M96/38, and all of them are pretty accurate .

I'm probably looking for any noticeable difference in accuracy from this 2 rifles and the differences might be negligible.

What i was trying to get at in my first post is I'm not sure if there will be any differences in accuracy between the two. Rifles built to that spec are generally all going to be VERY accurate and smooth. I think it will be which one fits you better and the aforementioned #### on open or close.

One more thing is that the large ring m98 action on the m69 may make rebarreling easier.

I have CG63 and I can hit 3" gong at 200 m every time whether using irons or scope. No difference. CG is pleasure to shoot and has that unbeatable character of small ring Mauser.
