Hi guys and gals,
I hope you can help me with an issue I have with a Schultz & Larsen M77 22LR target rifle I bought from Tradex about a month ago.
Their description of the rifle was 100% correct, so no problems with them.
When the rifle bolt is pushed forward to #### the bolt and made ready for shooting all is good. If you cycle the bolt without pulling the trigger it will open and close normally.
However, if you pull the trigger to shoot a round, then cycle the bolt to extract the spent round, the bolt will hang up and require the trigger to be pulled while cycling the bolt to the rear to load another round.
I have cleaned everything numerous times. The firing pin was found to be broken when I first disassembled the bolt upon receiving the rifle, and a new copy has been made. The function of the bolt remains unchanged from when it was first received and replacing the firing pin has not cleared up the bolt issue.
Now what??
I have checked the famous blogger site without finding a resolution; http://billard85.########.ca/
It's a simple enough trigger assembly. I already have an M70 but they're different in the trigger assembly as the bolt, so I can't swap parts out to resolve the issue.
