I know of this company for once providing match barrels. Can anyone comment on their actions or latest barrels?

According to Geoff Kolbe at Border Barrels, these guys no longer make barrels. They used to be excellent by all accounts...

"...In Europe, Shultz & Larson in Denmark were the outstanding protagonists of the cut rifling method and were making 8000 barrels a year. But adherence to workshop methods more suited to the beginning of this century, rather than its end, allowed competitors with newer technology to take their markets. They closed their doors just a few years ago."

Hmmm. After reading the original post, I googled S&L.
If their website is current, they manufacture sporting rifles, including an interesting looking target (CISM?) rifle, and barrels for these rifles. No mention of blanks.

That target rifle should be a dandy for Cdn. Precision Rifle competition.

They always continued to make rifles, but have outsourced their barrels.

S&L barrels were the ones DCRA shooters had to have for a while.

I own one of these rifle in m62, it is very accurate. some company down under makes a similar action with rear locking lugs.
